A look at the size and gravity of WoW. Azeroth (?) is smaller than the Death Star, but still has 1g Gravity.

And this is a map comparison between games. They used Nightfall as the example of Guild Wars. Wow.. Ascalon (the world) is pretty huge!

Tyria is the world. It's also the continent. Ascalon is simply one part of the world that was made a mess of in the Searing.

So wait, Elona is 15,000 sq. miles? How the heck is WoW that small? It has to have grown, if that image was taken in 2004. The only thing that comes to mind when I see the difference in scale is, "How the hell do so many players fit into such a tiny world?" Remember their world is not instanced, you are always bumping into people. Talk about claustrophobia! bounce
